  If you know me at all, you know that my deep joy is in celebrating people….i love to acknowledge the unique gifts we each bring to this Life.

  So in light of that, i have decided to UNBLOG this BLOG space…..i find most blogs very self indulgent and self serving anyway…this space will now be devoted to something other than MY perspective around MY stuff ….sorry, that’s MY Truth… :)

  This page will now be about YOU…..posts around people, companies, industries, etc. that are consciously connected to a purpose for the greater good!

  We begin with ORGANICO located at 495 North Franklin Turnpike in Ramsey, NJ. As soon as you walk in, you can feel the LOVE! It’s in the smile, voice and eyes of all who work there. The energy is very positive, uplifting, gracious and kind. And that energy transfers to the food and drink we so thoroughly enjoy! I have always believed that food that tastes great has a lot to do with the mindfulness of the person who prepares it…..and my experience at Organico is that mindfulness is key.

  Teresa Anderson is sole owner of Organico. Her desire to open a health food store became a reality in 2003. She is considerate around where her products come from, how the food has been harvested  and ultimately how it makes its way to you, the consumer. She is incredibly knowledgable around everything from vitamins and supplements to coffee beans and avocados. She hand picks  her staff so that you are receiving the best care possible.

  Daily specials may include tuna lunch box with brown rice and greens, forbidden black rice with coconut milk and mango and my latest favorite raw cabbage with capers and artichoke.

  Their staple smoothies and juices are just BE YOND!!!! Try the Almond Date Smoothie for a rich and deep experience. My fave juice is A Kick in the Right Direction, filled with an abundance of amazing greens.

  THE YEAR IN REVIEW

  i am so excited to have this dedicated space to share all sorts of fun, informative and thoughtful tidbits to help inspire you on your path.

  as the year end is quickly approaching, i thought this to be a good time to share some insights i have gleaned throughout a very bumpy 2012. 

  1. To Thine Own Self Be True…..even if it means walking away from things or situations that no longer serve you….Life can not be Life at your own expense. Notice what you tolerate. And if you burn any bridges whether for your sanity or by the Grace of God, may it illumine your way.

  2. Laughing is a CRITICAL part of good living! it is good for your body, for your circulation, for your organs and for your Spirit. Laughing for 10 minutes is like having slept for 2 hours. It  heals and revitalizes your heart. Hang with people who are fun, funny and make you happy! 

  3. Don’t take ANYTHING too seriously….unless, of course,  it really IS serious. Let more stuff roll off your back and don’t be surprised by ANYTHING or ANYONE. Otherwise, the shock to your system will erode your natural good health and well being. (just trust me on this one).

  4. Prayer is the BEST answer to any question or difficult situation. Period.

  5. The feelings that show up when you are being authentic vs. not being your total beautiful self are UNDENIABLE. Become more aware of what you are doing, saying, and engaged in as often as possible. Make sure your body feels good about it. It will always be the barometer to your Truth.

  6. Put your bare feet in the earth EVERY SINGLE DAY. Release what you don’t need and replenish from the Source. Nothing better. Take in nature’s magic all around you from the ground up! Wordless Oneness.

  7. Yoga is a very specific and personal journey. It’s perfectly fine if you aren’t doing your headstand in the middle of the room ! WHO CARES??? what matters is that you SHOWED UP in the room. Yoga is for every gender, age, race, body type and so on. Do what you can and ALWAYS step on your mat with a BEGINNERS MIND. The only thing to truly contemplate is your I N T E N T I O N

  8. Journaling is a great form of self healing! It allows you to explore and clarify thoughts and feelings around the events in your Life. Writing about situations and circumstances, helps to process them and release the emotions you may be holding. This all leads to integrating the experience more fully in your mind and heart.

  9. Everything that shows up in your body that feels toxic has been created by either your thoughts, the company you keep or what you are eating. NO DOUBT. If you are going to bother to think, choose positive, uplifting inner dialogue. If your job, co workers or “friends” bring you way down, change them. Same with food. Read the labels! No kidding! If you can’t pronounce it, don’t eat it. Choose organic fresh foods. Juicing is an amazing way to love and nourish yourself!

  10. If the story is old, write a new one.
